Robert Duncan at NIWeek

A new video was posted today of Dr. Robert Duncan, University of Missouri physicist, speaking about LENR. Dr. Duncan’s presentation was joined by Greg Marrow of National Instruments. There’s not a lot of new information from Dr. Duncan, but NI’s involvement and technologies are certainly interesting. They appear to be working hard to give LENR researchers the tools they need to control, measure, and develop theoretical models of LENR. This makes good sense from a business perspective, but I get the sense that many at NI are truly excited about the possibilities of LENR.
It seems doubtful to me that NI stands to make all that much money on the research end of things in the short term with LENR. However, I suspect once LENR grows ever closer to commercialization, they would like to be involved in the control systems for the commercial devices. Once that happens, they would stand to make good profits from these control systems and the accelerated research into the field that would likely follow.
