Celani Replication Project – Hydrogen Loading Begins
| November 11, 2012 | Posted by admin under Francesco Celani, Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project |
Over at the progress blog for the Celani Replication Project, it is reported that the calibration of the cell has been completed and hydrogen loading of Celani’s specially treated wires has commenced. The hydrogen loading of the wire is necessary before running the actual experiment in which Celani found excess heat. Celani talked about needing to do this loading for 3 days before commencing the experimental run. This is to insure adequate loading of hydrogen into the lattice of the specially-treated ISOTAN44 wire provided by Celani.
This is good news, and hopefully they will have some initial results in the coming days to weeks. There is another cell in Europe, which is being prepared. The experiment is taking place at the Hunt Utilities Group, which has been doing a lot of the work on the project.
