MFMP starts new glowstick 5.2 test (Update: Live Test Started)

The Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project has started work to examine and dismantle some effects related to fuel preparation.  They give the following rationale for the work:

Rossi / Parkhomov say that the powder needs to be heated rapidly to around 200ºC to drive off adsorbed/absorbed water and to cause micro-explosions producing smaller particles of Nickel.

Both Piantelli and Brillouin state that it is necessary to remove all O2.

The work to replicate Rossi / Parkhomov has so far been very difficult, and the current effort by the MFMP will help examine some reasons for the previous failures.  A lack of pre-baking of the nickel has been hypothesized as one of the reasons for these failures.

    If you are looking for small structures in which to confine the hydrogen for interactions with electrons and magnetic field confinement you might check out this. Both platinum and nickle are great for absorbtion of hydrogen. The high suface area and small structure of this bimetallic construct could be just the thing.

    MFMP has also had some recent success with their Celani coated wire apparatus. To me if that Celani platform could be certified, it could become a workhorse for LENR teams to study what makes the LENR reaction dance.

    A crowd kit with this Celani coated wire inside a conduction calorimeter would be ideal in my opinion.

    Any thoughts?

      I love the idea Bob. If they find something that can work consistently, I would be willing to build one. I like your conduction calorimetry approach better than anything else I have tried.
